I agree, it seems fake to me. The argument of printing more money makes Perry sound "unpresidential"? Because his own party- the Bush team are following him, Perry does favor Bush in many ways. This media coverage shines light on Perry more than causing him campaign losses. This argument sounds like a strategic plan to distant himself from Bush in attempt to influence voters into believing he will offer more than the "unpopular president" Bush.
