"Gov. Perry responded through his personal and campaign twitter accounts saying, "Something @NancyPelosi would like to forget: passing a 2k-page gov takeover of healthcare without reading it. American ppl haven't forgotten." I find this funny because the two politicians have been talking about each other through media outlets and not in person. I would like to see a debate between the two of them. I dislike both politicians but I would like to see it because I personally think it'll get personal. Pelosi needs to step up.
What would be the point? Pelosi isn't running for President (for now anyway) and Perry is having enough difficulty debating members of his own party. He really shouldn't be picking any more fights. I don't find the man intelligent and although I don't particularly care for Pelosi, I think she could eat him alive in a debate. There is just no point.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think Perry is just grasping for straws. If he were to debate a Democrat and try to make her answer for all of the things Republicans don't like about her, maybe voters would favor him again.
It would be entertaining, no doubt. But there is very little that can come from a debate between these two except for publicity.
That's kind of funny. This is the first time I've heard the name Pelosi, but their childish banter is fun. That was a great tweet from Perry.
