Herman Cain wrote a 2006 article supporting Tiger Woods for president in 2016. He said yesterday that it was all a joke and that people need to learn to have a sense of humor.
However, in 2006 the article made Tiger look like a solid candidate, Cain went on to say his accomplishments on the golf course can be used in the white house and that there hasnt been a man like him in Washington since MLK or Reagan.
I think he was very serious about this in '06, but the event that happened in 2008 had to make Cain take back his article. He said it was a joke, I guess we will never know.
Funny how they're both men without any real political experience. Cain says we need an outsider who "will be a problem solver, not a politician."
ReplyDeleteSounds similar doesn't it?
ha...
ReplyDeleteI know its just an opinion, but I do not take Cain seriously. I understand his appeal to the public (honestly an uninformed public) he is relatable and speaks simply and American are able to understand his policies like his economic 9-9-9 plan. However, that is one of the few issues Cain has actually spoken about and taken a clear stand. I have tried to research a little on him and have not found a lot of substance in what he says.
The article he did about Tiger woods as president is obviously funny, and I think Cain could have been completely serious. He has NO political experience and stumbles constantly over questions posed to him. Comparing Tiger Woods to Reagan or MLK...does he know who any of these people are? Some of the words that come out of his mouth, and the fact that he says he is running for election but does not show seriousness in his campaign just make me ask....REALLY?
